Our Trust is imparting free training to interested persons in herbal treatments with an aim to take Ayurveda back to / nearer to the rural population. The training will be imparted by Sri Sarjana Ramesh Guruji, the president of the trust, in the premises of our goshala. People interested to learn Ayurvedic treatments and become Grameen Vadyas (Rural Ayurvedic doctors) with the sole intention of social service are welcome to undergo training. Training in preparation of Panchagavya (products from the Dung, Urine, Milk, Curd and Ghee of Indian breed of cows) products also is offered.
Interested people may register in advance with our trust for this training.
We take up specific projects in partnership and/ or collaboration of Indian and foreign social service organizations in the fields on which we are working. www.sankranti.de, an NGO from Germany is our funding agency and we are the execution agency in the adopted hamlet of Kummarigudem of Mallikudurla village.
We could do this in Kummarigudem hamlet as a multipurpose project with 100% funding from the German NGO Sankranti.de (The name itself indicates how much the members of this German NGO love the Indian culture and we are sure, you would be delighted when you visit their website).
The multi purposes are:
>>Growth of income: 27 Gir cows of Indian breed were distributed to women of this village. Each cow used to 6-10 litres of milk per day. The morning milk was sold through our Maharshi Goshala at no profit-no loss, to Cancer patients undergoing treatment at our goshala and the female farmers used to get @Rs. 40/- per liter. Thus, the income of each woman farmer has increased from Rs.2400/- to 5000/- per month (gross). The evening milk is sold to the Mulkanoor co-operative dairy from whom they get almost the equal amount when included the price + Incentive by the Govt. of Telangana + bonus. Thus the monthly income of women or the family has increased considerably.
>>Natural Farming: 3 trainers are appointed in the village to train 3 groups of male and female farmers to do chemical free Zero Budget Natural Farming as told by Padmasri Subhash Palekar. To begin with, the farmers were asked to do ZBNF of any crop, enough for their family or at least ¼ of their cultivable land, as an initial step.
>>Availability of Urine and Curd of Native cow : The cancer patients have to use curd and urine of Indian cow only. Indian breed of cows was running short in our city. This problem was also solved.
>>Protection of Indian Breeds of Cows: India had more than 130 pure breeds of cows. The successive governments have significantly mismanaged cow breeding in our country. For various reasons, only 37 breeds are existing now. There is an urgent need to protect them and also to increase their strength for medicinal purposes, if not for religious purposes. Mutation took place for almost all breeds of cows in western countries. Only Indian cow breeds remained original even now and they need to be protected for the benefits they give to the human beings. This purpose also served in this project.

Cow is considered to be possessing many Goddesses and Gods by the Hindus. Every religion believes that each God or Goddess blesses us with something valuable for happy and healthy living of mankind. That means, the Indian breeds of cows which are possessing so many Gods, can give us so many things useful for our happy living. No wise person destroys what is useful to the society. The Indian breeds of cows are thus worshipped for their innumerable benefits to the mankind. The scientists are now realizing today that the non–vegetarian food, together with pollution, is the root cause of most of the diseases we are being affected with today. Even the western countries where non-vegetarian is the main food, are realizing that the non-veg food is the main cause of so many deadly diseases the mankind is affected today ,where as vegetarian food does not cause diseases. Moreover, the digestive system of mankind is not created to eat non-vegetarian food. The scientists of ancient India, the Rishis and Munis realized all those benefits of cows for the mankind but for unknown reasons, they gave symbolic representation of all these benefits in the form of Gods. Such cows are now being mercilessly sent to slaughter houses, without considering their advantages scientifically, just because either they hate or oppose other religion or oppose what the other political party does. Neither Quoran nor Bible nor any religious book tells to kill cows. In addition to the Hindu religious and Ayurvedic literature.
Those interested to donate for cows can do it by donating green fodder or (tractor load of) dry grass for one cow or for all the cows for one day, for one month or for one year. The jaggery, bananas etc. also can be donated but it should be distributed among many or all cows as a single cow eating more of such things will cause ill health. The offerings after pooja are allowed to be given to cows but offerings after “Khsudra pooja” are not accepted. Those who want to give “Godaan” have to contact goshala management in advance. Along with the cow, they will have to donate enough money for fodder in cash or kind, for one year. The Ayyagaaru (Brahmin) for godaan pooja can be arranged by the donors themselves or the goshala also can arrange.
Prophet Mohammad said that there is Rasayan (which increases life span) and there is Amrith (the immortal nectar) in the ghee (clarified butter) of cow.
>>Jesus Christ said, killing a cow equals to killing a person.
>>Hazarath Mohammad said that the milk of cow is great medicine, the ghee of cow gives great health and the meat of cow causes many diseases.
The maintenance and protection of the cows within our capacity, is chief goal of the trust. The cows of goshala are taken care of, with the help of a couple of families who live on the premises and attend to their up keep . The Trust offers a simple and healthy way of life for cows. Every Sunday, Homam and Gopooja are performed at 8 am in goshala premises and the citizens of Warangal flock to the Goshala to observe and participate in the holy ritual. The city’s people have come to admire the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy the sight of the cows and calves grazing calmly and resting under their shelters. We are also encouraging /helping interested people to establish self sustainable goshalas.

The cows will not be available in Goshala from 11 AM to 5 PM as they go out for grazing.
We are trying to propagate rearing of Indian Cows (increasing the livestock of Indian breeds of cows) which gives A-2 milk that doesn’t cause Cancer or Diabetes to the consumers and instead, cures (a report by the Australian University has revealed that regular consumption of A-1 milk (of Jersy or HF Cows) over a period causes Cancer, diabetes etc.) , in each household as it is useful for human beings in many ways even in these days of advanced technology. We distribute cows to reliable farmers directly or through other similar organizations like the Ekalavya Foundation, who are genuinely interested in our above philosophy of time tested cow based zero budget farming. www.sankranti.de NGO of Germany is active partner in this effort at Kummarigudem village. We believe that the cows should go back to households rather than live in goshalas whose maintenance cost is unaffordable and undesirable.
Inspired by Padmasri Subhash Palekar , our co-ordinators are making regular efforts to educate the farmers to make cow a central part of their farming activity. About 1500 farmers were given a training program on Zero Budget Natural Farming at a special camp held by Sri Subhash Palekar, during 28-30 of November 2013. Many interested people watched the program which the then District Collector of Warangal district and other high officials also attended. The trust has also conducted training camps in more than 20 villages. www.sankranti.de NGO of Germany is active partner in this effort at Kummarigudem village. NABARD has sponsored for ZBNF training in 9 villages in Warangal district.
In the above spirit, Kummarigudem hamlet under Mallikudurla panchayath in Velair mandal of Warangal Urban district, was adopted by our Goshala Trust for which the entire funding is generously born by www.sankranti.de NGO of Germany, to make it a model village from all angles- cow based organic farming, women empowerment, increase of women’s income, health, sanitation, education, greenery, watershed ,Financial inclusion etc. 27 cows of Gir breed were distributed to women of the village to serve the tripple purpose of improving the household income through sale of Cow milk, to cultivate crops under chemical free Zero Budget Natural Farming and to develop the Indian breeds of cows and it is running successfully.
Our Trust organizes Yoga camps in rural areas to make the villagers aware of the great benefits that the Yoga can offer. They are made to appreciate the fact that they live in Bharath, the Great country which gave the gift of valuable Yoga and Ayurveda to the world to keep fit and healthy physically and mentally and are taught to take advantage of this Yoga and Ayurveda and keep away from ill health and to be healthy.
Our Trust aims at holistic development in various aspects. Developing greenery is also one of its major activities. For this purpose, plantation of saplings is taken up in rural areas of undivided Warangal district.
We are also given projects by NABARD to conduct awareness and training programs on natural farming in 9 villages in undivided Warangal District and it is successfully completed.
